Refund Policy

You can get a refund if you are within the cooling-off period for non-perishable goods of 14 days (cow hides), but this may be subject to certain conditions and deductions, as returned as unused, and you will have to pay the costs of return of any goods. 

As most of our goods are fresh and perishable food, you may not be entitled to the "normal" right to change your mind within 14 days after the day you receive them (such right as set out in the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013). One of the reasons for this is because the food is likely to have a best before date within only a few days of delivery of the goods.

Our guarantee. Please note that we offer a guarantee for all of our goods this guarantee does not affect your legal rights as set out in these terms.

Changing or cancelling your order. Please let us know by doing one of the following: 

Phone or email. Call us on 01749890298 or email us at organics@browncoworganics.co.uk. Please provide your name, home address, details of the order and, where available, your phone number and email address. 

By post. Perridge Farm, Pilton, Shepton Mallet, Somerset.BA4 4EW.

Returning goods. If you are exercising your right to change your mind about cow hides you must send off the goods within 14 days of informing us. 

Costs of return. You are responsible for cost if return of cow hides

What we charge for collection. If you are responsible for the costs of return and we are collecting the goods from you, we will charge you the direct cost to us of collection. The costs of collection will be the same as our charges for standard delivery as set out on our website.

How we will refund you. We will refund you the price you paid for the goods including delivery costs, by the method you used for payment. However, we may make deductions from the price, as described below.

Deductions from refunds. If you are exercising your right to change your mind for non-perishable goods: 

We may reduce your refund of the price (excluding delivery costs) to reflect any reduction in the value of the hides, if this has been caused by your handling them in a way which would not be permitted in a shop

When your refund will be made. We will make any refunds due to you as soon as practically possible. If you are exercising your right to change your mind for non-perishable goods then if we have not offered to collect them, your refund will be made within 14 days from the day on which we receive the goods back from you or, if earlier, the day on which you provide us with evidence that you have sent the goods back to us.
