We rear our animals on our farm for their meat but as our farming knowledge improved over the years, there has been consequent improvement in the quality and lustre of the hides.
It is no secret that a healthy balanced diet and a content demeanour leads to healthy skin and hair in human beings. That same principle applies to animals. Our Brown Cow Hide Rugs are long or short haired and are as individual as the animal they came from. They are the unique originals of our herd here at Perridge Farm. Each rug is trademarked and identified as the animal from whence it came using that animal’s unique ear tag number.
However we feel that only a few of our hides are superior enough to sell as entire Brown Cow Rugs, hence they are very limited in numbers. Such provenance and identification of British Cow Hides is most rare. Prices from £999.00 inc VAT.
