Hello everyone, I’m back!  Hope you like my new look blog, I love it and I’ve been told that there will be more information added by the end of the year.  Apparently it would be a good idea for you to add my blog to your bookmarks (whatever a bookmark is!), so you can easily follow me every week.

I couldn’t have had more exciting Moos to tell you about; Mamma J was invited to No 10 Downing Street and with Farmer Clive to the House of Commons last week!

On  Thursday 1st December Mamma J joined 100 other small business owners at a #smallbusiness saturday reception at 10 Downing Street attended by the Small Business Minister Margot James and was one of only 30 invited to exhibit their products to Government Officials; how amazing was that?

Mamma J told me all about it when she came home – she was delighted to get to speak to the MP Margot James and talk to her all about us and our farm.

At the end of November Mamma J also went on the Small Business Saturday Bus in Bath and spoke to lots of people and gave some of our lovely yoghurt to them to taste.

We’ve won an award!

Mamma J and Farmer Clive were invited to attend the prestigious Food and Farming Industry Awards dinner at the House of Commons and we won Highly Commended for Champions in Sustainable Farming Award!

Mamma J said to me that “Winning this award is truly an accolade to commemorate our 30 years in farming.”

Farmer Clive told me we won the award because on the farm every effort is made to encourage healthy soils and produce sustainable nutritious organic food and he and Mamma J employ local people that supports 11 families.

So it’s been a really important week for us all here, we’re all so proud of our achievements.

That’s all for now, speak to you all again next week.

#Bonny

Hello, my name is #Bonny and I am a #Guernsey #browncow living at Perridge Farm in Pilton, Somerset. I wanted to write this blog so that you can share in the everyday life happenings on our organic farm; which is also the home of Brown Cow Organics.
I started writing #BonnysBlog when I was very young, back in April in 2015 and every week since I’ve been telling you all about things that are happening on the farm; to me, my calf friends, the big girls, all the other animals on the farm and the humans that look after and care for us all – Farmer Clive, Mamma J, Sophie, Vet Stephen and Nathan. So drop in every week for all my Moos – Bonny
