11-9.16-Glasto is Imminent!

There’s been much talk on the farm all about the Glastonbury festival preparations; the big girls come back in for milking and tell us about all the action that they’ve seen developing on the Glastonbury Festival site that our organic farm directly overlooks.

The music has been announced and we are all practising our dance moves and line ups for the four days of festivities.

Meanwhile Farmer Clive has been busy getting even more silage into another clamp-grass yields are phenomenal this year so he is very pleased and so are we as it means plenty of grass to eat all year round!

Last night we had yet another thunderstorm and Toby raced off to find Farmer Clive in the fields, leaving the farmstead as he is so frightened of the strange noises coming from the sky; that’s quite funny really as he doesn’t mind the noises coming from the Glastonbury festival site!

Glastonbury develops

I’m sure to have more to tell as Glastonbury Festival gets closer next week, in the meantime, did you recognise me at the top of my Blog, I’m nearly a Big Girl now!

More moos next week.

Hello, my name is #Bonny and I am a #Guernsey #browncow living at Perridge Farm in Pilton, Somerset. I wanted to write this blog so that you can share in the everyday life happenings on our organic farm; which is also the home of Brown Cow Organics.
I started writing #BonnysBlog when I was very young, back in April in 2015 and every week since I’ve been telling you all about things that are happening on the farm; to me, my calf friends, the big girls, all the other animals on the farm and the humans that look after and care for us all – Farmer Clive, Mamma J, Sophie, Vet Stephen and Nathan. So drop in every week for all my Moos – Bonny
